I've started on a new list! (part 2 hehe) I've gone through most of your suggestions- although some I really couldn't find pictures for so I wasn't able to include them. But seriously, thanks so much for the wonderful list! Some of them look amazing and I definately plan to watch a few.

You know, you are one of the few members I actually like talking to in this site and sorry for the late reply, but I had to read your 3 page-epic comment (LOL) carefully before I make any moves. So, here goes:
You have a fine taste, no doubt about it and yes, I know i caught most of these 'young' actresses, Lohan - Alba - Biel and may others, young. I mean, calling them great at this stage is like as if calling your newborn baby Einstein or Newton. The reason I added a few from the truck-load of youngsters we're getting nowadays is because they have quite-proven themselves to be worthy of being seen and worthy to follow (not in the stalking sense) and even though they are no better than Meryl Streep, they could be. After all, Meryl Streep wasn't big from the word GO was she? The reason why the stars of the past are still popular and highly respected because of less technology and an important thing called INTERNET!
Nowadays, everyone starts off from the internet and what they're getting nowadays is too much exposure and too much exposure of one thing tends to get boring. I mean, take this Bieber guy or the Jonas Brothers for example. In the first few months they got so much exposure that the world was torn between to hate them or love them. Now look, people have finally gotten bored and I hardly see Jonas Brothers in the news anymore. Bieber is still making rounds but after a few more months (let's say, the end of 2011), he will soon go into obscurity and this is precisely the reason why none from the mid-90's till now are widely appreciated bar from few.
I don't know whether I stayed true to the conversation or not... And I really appreciate your views on things
I totally understand how you're feeling right now and I'm too a major fan of Meryl Streep and such but it all depends on how you see them, right? If you think my list was, er, shocking, then listen to this:
Some guy had ranked Kristen Stewart ahead of Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren & Marion Cottilard in his greatest actresses list and Meryl Streep wasn't even included!!!!
I understand what you mean when you call them 'young', because they are and they got a long way to go but, in the case of of Lohan, I literally grew up watching her so I guess I see her as a great, somewhat cliche-filled, actress. But I don't get why you don't like Jessica Biel? Out of the three, she is the best!
